AC Milan received good news on Thursday as Christian Pulisic returned to full training ahead of the team’s match against Torino on Saturday.
Pulisic was ruled out of Milan’s pre-season friendly with an ankle injury as the American was ruled out of the team’s 3-1 win at Monza on Sunday.
After the 25-year-old trained separately from his teammates on Wednesday, MilanNews.it reported that he returned to regular training the next day, where he was placed in way to start Saturday’s Serie A match at San Siro.
Pulisic will most likely play against Torino, but there are still questions about where he will line up.
The American star was primarily used as a right winger last season, but new manager Paolo Fonseca has said he prefers to play Pulisic as a No.10.
The Pennsylvania native was ranked No. 10 in the preseason and could repeat that feat next year.
Wherever he plays, Milan will hope that Pulisic can repeat his excellent performance in 2023-24, where he scored 15 goals and provided 11 assists in all competitions.
