All good things must come to an end, but they should not burn out. Stephen Curry perfectly complements Klay Thompson’s style of play and vice versa. The addition of Steve Kerr also changed the way the entire association played. Unfortunately, the gap within NBA Free Agency does not seem to be too big.
There are many factors behind the collapse of the duo Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson in the Warriors system. But that seems to be worth it. The story of how this collapse begins in the 2023 season, according to ESPN’s Kendra Andrews

Thompson still has a chance to return to the Warriors this year. However, it was the calls for organization and rotation made by Steve Kerr that may have really damaged their relationship. Being benched for Brandin Podziemski after a poor start to the season doesn’t help that fact either.
“So he’s coming off a bit of a rough year but not happy . He started the year poorly, he was moved to the bench. His role for the rest of the season is interesting. Meanwhile, contract negotiations? Nothing has changed since the summer. “During that time, he was struggling to adapt to his game and his body after those two very serious injuries a couple of years ago. So he was managing it all in his head. Meanwhile, he wasn’t getting that respect, that appreciation, that assurance from the higher-ups in the organization. And that really caused a rift between him and the important people at the Warriors,” she added.
The former All-Star still played 77 games for the Warriors. But his meager output of 17.9 points on 43.1 percent shooting wasn’t enough for the front office to give him the deal he needed. Not scoring a goal in the playoff against the Sacramento Kings despite playing 32 minutes didn’t help either.
Does Klay Thompson have a chance to stay?
