The Blues will face Man City in Enzo Maresca’s first match as head coach on Sunday August 18. The Italian, who recently signed Five years with the club, will take charge of the club he has worked for twice.
Then there’s a trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers next weekend for Chelsea, against Crystal Palace (at home) , Bournemouth (away), West Ham United (away) and Brighton (home). In other notable matches, Chelsea travel to Liverpool on October 19 for a tough four-game set for the Blues.
Then comes a home clash with Newcastle United before the away trip before Manchester United, then it’s Arsenal’s turn. Come to Stamford Bridge. Chelsea face Fulham on Boxing Day in the west London derby, before traveling to newly promoted Ipswich Town three days later.

Maresca begins his job role officially at the beginning of next month. The players, the ones who are not on international duty at the Euros or Copa America, will train at Cobham for a couple of weeks before the squad jet off to the United States for their pre-season tour.
Chelsea take on Wrexham in Santa Clara, Celtic in Notre Dame, Club America in Atlanta, Manchester City in Columbus and Real Madrid in Charlotte while in the US. So Maresca will get to go against Pep Guardiola, the man he worked under during City’s treble-winning 2022/23 season, as a dress rehearsal before the opening game of the campaign.
